A true story comes from the heart of Bucovina. It is the story of four houses revived by a hard-working family, animated by the love for the ancestral tradition. The houses have been reconditioned preserving the aesthetic of the time and also the wood structure. They have created here an oasis of tranquility in a wonderful landscape, where you can recharge your batteries and can you may resonate with nature with nature and the centuries-old history of these places.
The touristic ensemble covers a surface of 2 hectares and includes also a restaurant, a pond with carps and crucians, a gazebo with a grill and oven, a garden with terrace, playground for children and a recreation zone.
The four houses collection – the “Big House”, the “Little House”, the “Lake House” and the “Old House” - are traditionally decorated with authentic furniture and are equipped with bathrooms, TV and even the Internet. In the lofts of the old houses have been arranged the mansards, thus providing space for additional rooms.
“Căsoaia” or the ‘Big House” - is a large manor house of the nineteenth century, with a spacious lounge on the ground floor and 5 rooms on the upper floor.
“Casa Veche”or the “Old House” - dates back to 1790, it has 4 bedrooms, of which 2 downstairs, two upstairs and a mansard for the kids.
“Casa Lac” or the “Lake House” - is a specific house for wealthy people, built in 1900, with 2 bedrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs.
“Casa Mică” or the “Little House” – is a house from the second half of the nineteenth century, it reflects the architecture of the common people of that era, which has 2 rooms.
Adventure park - is an area for adventurers eager to strong emotions and for nature lovers. The main attraction is the cable car, which spans several sections of the structure.
The restaurant, with a traditional cuisine of Bucovina, proposes its guests several dishes made only from natural products from its farms or from local producers. Borsch beetroot, mushrooms with cream and polenta, stew of “barabule” (potatoes), “balmuş” with sour milk, the pie “poale- n brâu”, “chiroşte”, are just some of the traditional dishes of the region.
If you arrive at “Casa Poveste” a must see destination are the beauty of the Rarău Montains: the Transrarău road, the Devil's Mill Gorges and the Secular Forests from Slătioara, the oldest natural park in the country.
Moreover, do not miss the local monasteries such as: Voroneţ, Moldoviţa, Humor, Suceviţa, which persists for centuries on the Bucovina lands, in their architectural and pictorial splendor.
