Vinarte Winery, Romanian Gold awarded wines

The Vinarte Company was founded in 1998 and has an area of 344 hectares, located in Stârmina, Sâmburești and Zorești. The owners are a group of Romanian, French and Italian investors, passionate by the quality wine. Thus they replaced the non-productive varieties and the sick vines, inherited from the period of communism with noble varieties and modern technology.

The cultivated grape varieties are: Fetească Neagră, Negru de Drăgășani, Novac, Tămâioasă Românească, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Italian Riesling and they are vinified in three production centers: Zorești Winery (Buzău County), Bolovanu Castel (Olt County) and Stârmina Castel (Mehedinți County).

The wines are sold in three ranges: Collection, Vinarte and Enoteca, comprising 27 labels, under the names: Cuvée d'Excellence, Castel Bolovanu, Danube Terraces, Villa Zorilor, Castel Stârmina. Vinarte Winery collections are known as Prince Mircea (Merlot), Prince Matei (Merlot), Soare / Sun (Cabernet Sauvignon) and Sirena Dunarii / the Mermaid of the Danube (Riesling Italian). Vinarte Winery launched a blend of three Romanian varieties: Feteascea Neagră, Negru de Drăgășani and Novac, bottled in the Nedeea range.

The year of 2019 represented for Vinarte Winery a year in which the work and the attention to details were rewarded with prizes at international competitions. Thus, at the Mundus Vini Grand International Wine Award it obtained the Silver Medal with Nedeea - 2017; in China at the Asia Wine Trophy competition won the gold medal with Cuvée d 'Excellence - 2017; in England at WWSA he obtained the gold medal for red wine - 2017, the silver medal for rose - 2018 and the bronze medal for white wine - 2018.

Over the years Vinarte Winery has obtained gold medals at the specialized competitions in: Paris: 2013, Lugano - 2009, Brussels - 2004, France - 2004 - Challenge du Vin, 2001 at the World Competition and in 2003 in Brussels it obtained two Gold medals.
