Drosera rotundifolia, the only carnivorous plant in Romania, it can be found in the reserve of Tinovul Mohos, district Harghita.
The drosera has been used by alchemists and, later, by the sorcerers who used it for their spells.
In folk medicine was used in the treatment of chronic bronchitis and asthma, coughs, whooping cough, catarrh, tuberculosis, laryngitis, tracheitis, joint pain, rheumatism, to promote the dilation of the bronchi.
The farmers, in addition to use its juice against warts, they considered it a great aphrodisiac.
